AthHalf: The Athens, Georgia Half Marathon
Every October, AthFest Educates proudly produces the AthHalf Half Marathon & 5K, which give race participants a chance to experience the great sights and sounds of Athens, GA.
The AthHalf Half Marathon packs all that Athens has to offer all in one exciting half marathon course, including a run through downtown Athens, UGA’s iconic Sanford Stadium and Athens’ beautiful historic districts, with live music from local Athens bands throughout the course!
The AthHalf 5K runs through downtown Athens and nearby historic neighborhoods with music at the start and finish, and cheering crowds along the way! The 5K is a great way to get the whole community involved with race weekend and allows runners of the AthHalf a nice warm up the day before the half marathon.
The AthHalf is produced annually by AthFest Educates as our largest and most successful fundraiser. When you run the AthHalf, you are directly impacting a child’s access to music and the arts. Thank you!
